Dwarf athletes who made the trip to Michigan State University in East Lansing for the 1985 Cerebral Palsy/Les Autres Games will be the first to enter the stadium during opening ceremonies. They made history by participating in the first-ever sanctioned sport competition where athletes with dwarfism were recognized as a unique classification. | ||

Paralympians
Since 1988, over 85 dwarf athletes from 20 nations have competed in the Paralympic Games. Bios for all known dwarf Paralympians are posted under the Athletes Menu.
Some of these Paralympians will be attending the 2013 World Dwarf Games as athletes, some as parents, and some as sports administrators. Watch for their entrance in the opening ceremonies parade and at events throughout the week.
